Once you complete online learning, contact us from this website to book your practical to complete your course. (Scroll below for a detailed description of your practical day.)
Once you have passed the online assessment, contact us via phone or email to book your practical day.

Complete your Boatsafe multiple-choice theory assessment. You are allowed 2 attempts to achieve 100%. The boat licence has 50 questions, the jet ski licence has 40 questions, or 20 questions with the combined boat/jet ski course.
Professional and friendly training is provided by our instructors. They will demonstrate all manoeuvres and ensure you are confident in navigating the vessel through the exercises, either on a boat or jet ski. See videos on the individual Boat & Jet Ski pages to see the activities that you will be required to undertake.
Once you are feeling confident, it's time to undertake the assessment as per the BoatSafe competency standard, which includes exercises that your trainer has guided you through during the day. Note: If you are unsuccessful on your practical assessment attempt, you will be given another opportunity on a following day free of charge.
The practical is on the Mooloolah River. Students will meet at Charles Clarke Park, 13-47 River Esplanade, Mooloolaba 4557.
